'The Endless Drifter' - Feature Documentary - Director & Producer
The son of a horse-drawn traveller captures a snapshot of his father's lifestyle before it is lost forever. Part observational, part internal monologue, this intimate portrait of a father and son presents a poetic insight into a counter cultural way of living.
After making Driftwood and Seven Days to Sidmouth, which both explored aspects of my dad's life, he and I both felt there was something more we could say. He wanted to show a more complete representation of his way of life whilst I wanted to explore the similarities and differences between us. This film is the product of sporadic shooting over 4 years and was completely self-produced on next to no budget.
Official Selection: REAL Documentary Festival 2023, Liverpool Underground Film Festival 2024, Portobello Film Festival 2024

The film deals with themes of communication, love, family, loneliness and heritage, and makes us think about our own parents, grandparents and how 'family' is a deep and powerful enigma, that we may not fully understand but we all love and cherish
